What You’ll Find in Our Veterans Report on MIAD:
An increased number of veterans enrolling at a particular school means that college faculty are more adept at accommodating and supporting those with previous military experience. According to the VA, there are 23 GI Bill® students at MIAD. Because the school enrolls 883, approximately 2.6% of students are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. By comparison, the Student Veterans of America reports that three to four percent of college students nationwide are veterans.
The total spans all GI Bill® chapters, including Post-9/11, Montgomery, Reserve Education Assistance, and Veteran Readiness and Employment. It excludes active-duty military personnel attending through Tuition Assistance, so the true military population may be larger.

MIAD may consider your military experience and award college credit. Reach out to admissions for the specifics. Prior-learning credit can help you graduate sooner, so it pays to ask. Check with MIAD about credit for life experience, CLEP and similar exams, or other prior learning beyond military training.
There are no ROTC programs offered at MIAD.
