Campus & Student Life at Navajo Technical University

Home to about 1,337 undergraduates in 2020, Navajo Tech is a small, public university located in Crownpoint, New Mexico. Navajo Tech is a "Tribal College or University" (TCU)

The Higher Education Act of 1965 established tribal colleges and universities as institutions controlled and operated by American Indian tribes. The mission of a TCU is typically to provide higher education to American Indians and to pass on and preserve tribe based culture.
