Our Veterans Report on NMMI:
A large number of veterans attending a college means the college and faculty are more used to supporting and accommodating the needs of those with prior military experience. Per VA data, there are 29 GI Bill® students at NMMI. Given that enrollment at the school is 342, about 8.5% of those enrolled are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. To put that into context, the Student Veterans of America estimates that roughly three to four percent of all U.S. college students are veterans.
