When many veterans attend a school, its faculty and staff tend to be more experienced at meeting the needs of former service members. Based on VA records, there are 44 GI Bill® students at Oakwood. With a total enrollment of 1,253, roughly 3.5% of those enrolled are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. Veterans with specialized military training may be able to earn college credit at Oakwood. Ask the admissions office how this applies to you. Earning credit for what you already know can save you time and money toward a degree. Beyond military training, ask Oakwood whether it awards credit for life or work experience, CLEP exams, or other prior learning.
Oakwood does not offer Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs.
