A large number of veterans attending a college means the college and faculty are more used to supporting and accommodating the needs of those with prior military experience. The VA reports that there are 43 GI Bill® students at Pennsylvania Highlands. Given that enrollment at the school is 719, about 6.0% of students are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. By comparison, the Student Veterans of America reports that three to four percent of college students nationwide are veterans.

Earning credit for what you already know can save you time and money toward a degree. Beyond military training, ask Pennsylvania Highlands whether it awards credit for life or work experience, CLEP exams, or other prior learning.
Pennsylvania Highlands does not offer Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs.
