Colleges with a large veteran population are better equipped to support and accommodate those who have had military experience. The VA reports that there are 62 GI Bill® students at RCC. With a total enrollment of 1,318, around 4.7% of students are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. To put that into context, the Student Veterans of America estimates that roughly three to four percent of all U.S. college students are veterans.
This number includes all chapters of the GI Bill®, such as Post-9/11, the Montgomery GI Bill®, the Reserve Education Assistance Program, and Veteran Readiness and Employment. It excludes active-duty military personnel attending through Tuition Assistance, so the true military population may be larger.
Outcome rates for veterans help show whether a school’s support translates into degrees.

RCC may recognize specialized military training toward college credit. Ask the admissions office how this applies to you. Prior-learning credit can help you graduate sooner, so it pays to ask. Check with RCC about credit for life experience, CLEP and similar exams, or other prior learning beyond military training.
Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs are not available at RCC.
