When many veterans attend a school, its faculty and staff tend to be more experienced at meeting the needs of former service members. VA figures show 331 GI Bill® students at SAC. Because the school enrolls 22,011, about 1.5% of students are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. As a benchmark, the Student Veterans of America puts the share of veteran college students nationwide at three to four percent.

**Santa Ana College has a student veterans group on campus.**There is a dedicated veteran and military student point of contact on campus. Visit veteran services.
SAC may recognize specialized military training toward college credit. Contact the school to find out more about the particulars. Earning credit for what you already know can save you time and money toward a degree. Check with SAC about credit for life experience, CLEP and similar exams, or other prior learning beyond military training.
SAC does not offer Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs.
