In 2020-2021, 6,781 people earned their degree in architectural sciences and technology, making the major the 107th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, architectural sciences and technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,874 and had an average of $24,019 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 1,619 architectural sciences and technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $50,150 and $25,052 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Architect Science” ranking analyzed 13 colleges that offered a degree in architectural sciences and technology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality architectural sciences and technology programs as well as strong veteran support.

Out of the 13 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Architect Science that were part of this year’s ranking, Carnegie Mellon University landed the #1 spot on the list. Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this fairly large private not-for-profit school handed out 62 diplomas to qualified ’s architect science students in 2020-2021.
Carnegie Mellon not only placed well in this ranking. NYIT is a private not-for-profit institution located in Old Westbury, New York. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 116 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
