In 2020-2021, 28,787 people earned their degree in human resource management, making the major the 45th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $49,057 and had an average of $31,139 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 3,740 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $48,029 and $32,588 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for HR” ranking analyzed 68 colleges that offered a degree in human resource management. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality human resource management programs as well as strong veteran support.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the human resource management program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
