When it comes to choosing a college, students have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Best Value Other Marketing Schools” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2020-2021, 1,353 people earned their degree in other marketing, making the major the 381st most popular in the United States.
For this year’s “Best Value Other Marketing Schools” ranking, we looked at 59 colleges that offer a degree in other marketing. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great other marketing programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the other marketing program at the school. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

Out of the 59 schools in the Best Value Other Marketing Schools that were part of this year’s ranking, Western Michigan University landed the #2 spot on the list. Western Michigan University is a public institution located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 120 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
WMU also took the #5 spot in our “Best Other Marketing Schools” ranking. It costs about $20,371 for Other Marketing students per year to attend WMU.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of South Florida - Main Campus. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Best Value Other Marketing Schools list. This large school is located in Tampa, Florida, and it awarded 22 ’s other marketing degrees in 2020-2021.
USF Tampa also took the #3 spot in our “Best Other Marketing Schools” ranking. It costs about $8,346 for other marketing students per year to attend USF Tampa.
The school has an impressive undergrad student loan default rate. It’s only 3.3%, which is much lower than the national rate of 10.1%. Students who start out at the school are likely to stick around. The freshman retention rate is 92%.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Minnesota - Duluth. It ranked #4 on our 2023 Best Value Other Marketing Schools list. UMN Duluth is located in Duluth, Minnesota and, has a medium-sized student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 14 ’s other marketing degrees to qualified students.

Western Carolina University came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Other Marketing Schools ranking. WCU is a fairly large school located in Cullowhee, North Carolina that handed out 59 ’s other marketing degrees in 2020-2021.
WCU also made our “Best Other Marketing Schools” list, coming in at #20. It costs about $13,924 for Other Marketing students per year to attend WCU.
Utah Valley University ranked #8 on this year’s Best Value Other Marketing Schools list. UVU is a public institution located in Orem, Utah. The school has a large population, and it awarded 68 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our other marketing students list, UVU has also earned the #16 rank in our “Best Other Marketing Schools” ranking. The estimated yearly cost for UVU is $9,955 for Other Marketing students.
The undergrad student loan default rate at the school is 4.4%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%.
With a ranking of #9, Nassau Community College did quite well on the 2023 Best Value Other Marketing Schools list. Located in Garden City, New York, this fairly large public school awarded 2 diplomas to qualified ’s other marketing students in 2020-2021.

University of Southern Mississippi came in at #10 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Other Marketing Schools ranking.
