In 2019-2020, 5,473 people earned their degree in general sales and marketing, making the major the 140th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, general sales and marketing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $36,312 and had an average of $27,494 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 733 general sales and marketing graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Sales & Marketing Schools for an Associate” ranking looked at 61 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in general sales and marketing. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent general sales and marketing programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the general sales and marketing program at the school. See our ranking methodology to learn more.
