University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign tops the 2021 list of our schools in Illinois that are best for non-traditional journalism students. Located in the small city of Champaign, UIUC is a public college with a very large student population. UIUC also took the #2 spot in our Best Colleges for Journalism in Illinois rankings.
About 0.6% of UIUC students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. Approximately 35,475 students take at least one class online at UIUC. There are roughly 10,007 part time students in attendance at UIUC.
The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to DePaul University. Located in the large city of Chicago, DePaul is a private not-for-profit college with a very large student population. DePaul also took the #3 spot in our Best Colleges for Journalism in Illinois rankings.
