Best Journalism Schools for Non-Traditional Students
The University of Tennessee - Knoxville tops the 2021 list of our schools in Tennessee that are best for non-traditional journalism students. UT Knoxville is a fairly large public school located in the midsize city of Knoxville. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UT Knoxville, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Journalism in Tennessee ranking.
The student loan default rate at UT Knoxville is lower than is typical, just 1.1% of students default in three years. Approximately 12,626 students take at least one class online at UT Knoxville. 3,889 of UT Knoxville students are attending part time.
University of Memphis landed the #2 spot in our 2021 best journalism schools for non-traditional students. Located in the large city of Memphis, UofM is a public school with a fairly large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UofM, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Journalism in Tennessee ranking.
