You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of North Carolina at Charlotte. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in North Carolina for CIS for a Master’s list. UNC Charlotte is located in Charlotte, North Carolina and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 75 masters’s CIS degrees to qualified students.

UNC Charlotte also made our “Best Computer Information Systems Master’s Degree Schools in North Carolina” list, coming in at #1.Our most recent data shows that 1,476 of the 30,146 students enrolled at University of North Carolina at Charlotte were GI Bill® students, of which 642 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $4,691. On top of their other funding sources, 13 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. UNC Greensboro is a public institution located in Greensboro, North Carolina. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 12 masters’s degrees in 2020-2021.

The school came in at #3 for the Most Veteran Friendly in North Carolina for CIS for a Master’s. Wilmington, North Carolina is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s CIS degrees to 11 students in 2020-2021.

UNCW not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #2 on our “Best Computer Information Systems Master’s Degree Schools in North Carolina” list.Among the 17,915 students enrolled at UNCW, 1,169 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 659 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $5,129. To help with additional expenses, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.
