Top 10 Best Computer Software & Applications Schools for Veterans

University of Southern California earned the #1 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the large city of Los Angeles, USC is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at USC, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Software & Applications in the United States ranking.

Of the 47,310 students enrolled at USC, 1,323 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 908 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for these recipients was $21,271. On top of their other funding sources, 415 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. USC does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Rochester Institute of Technology. RIT is a large private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of Rochester. RIT also made our Best Colleges for Computer Software & Applications in the United States list, coming in at #3.

Of the 16,463 students enrolled at RIT, 277 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 229 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for these recipients was $22,837. On top of their other funding sources, 101 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. RIT does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

Academy of Art University landed the #3 spot in our 2021 rankings for best value computer software and applications schools. Located in the city of San Francisco, Academy of Art University is a private for-profit school with a medium-sized student population. Academy of Art University did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #8 on our Best Colleges for Computer Software & Applications in the United States list.

Our most recent data shows that 1,254 of the 10,616 students enrolled at Academy of Art University were GI Bill® students, of which 1,123 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
