In 2020-2021, 14,336 people earned their degree in computer software and applications, making the major the 84th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, computer software and applications graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $39,619 and had an average of $33,819 in loans still to pay off.

Across Florida, there were 1,229 computer software and applications graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,153 and $29,625 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for Computer Software” ranking, we looked at 15 colleges that offer a degree in computer software and applications. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer software and applications programs as well as strong veteran support.

Lakeland, Florida is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s computer software degrees to 39 students in 2020-2021.

Florida Poly did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Our most recent data shows that 29 of the 1,422 students enrolled at Florida Polytechnic University were GI Bill® students, of which 13 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
