University of Maryland Global Campus has taken the #1 spot in this year's information science ranking for non-traditional students. UMGC is a very large public school located in the large suburb of Adelphi. UMGC also took the #4 spot in our Best Colleges for Information Science in Maryland rankings.
About 1.2% of UMGC students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. 47,272 students at UMGC are exclusively online. About 45,251 of the students at UMGC are attending part time.

Located in the small suburb of Salisbury, Salisbury is a public school with a moderately-sized student population. Salisbury not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #3 on our Best Colleges for Information Science in Maryland list.
