Michigan State University has taken the #1 spot in this year's general education ranking for non-traditional students. Michigan State is a very large public school located in the small city of East Lansing. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Michigan State, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for General Education in the Great Lakes Region ranking.
The student loan default rate at Michigan State is lower than is typical, just 0.8% of students default in three years. Approximately 33,526 students take at least one class online at Michigan State. There are roughly 6,517 part time students in attendance at Michigan State.
University of Wisconsin - Green Bay landed the #2 spot in our 2021 best general education schools for non-traditional students. UW - Green Bay is a moderately-sized public school located in the midsize city of Green Bay. UW - Green Bay did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #8 on our Best Colleges for General Education in the Great Lakes Region list.
