You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Wyoming. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Wyoming for Education for a Doctorate list. This fairly large school is located in Laramie, Wyoming, and it awarded 8 doctorate’s education degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our wyoming doctor’s degree vets studying education list, UW has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best General Education Doctor’s Degree Schools in Wyoming” ranking.According to our most recent data, UW supports 11,829 students, and 473 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 255 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $3,738. On top of their other funding sources, 13 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. UW does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
