With all of the options veterans have for higher education today, it can be tough to choose which direction to take. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Other Education” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
Other Education is the 142nd most popular major in the country with 4,858 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, other education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $47,827 and had an average of $25,433 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 581 other education graduates with average earnings and debt of $52,949 and $24,875 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Other Education” ranking, we looked at 17 colleges that offer a degree in other education. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality other education programs as well as strong veteran support.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the other education program at the school. See our ranking methodology to learn more.

Top 17 Best Other Education Colleges for Veterans in the New England Region
Out of the 17 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Other Education that were part of this year’s ranking, University of New Hampshire - Main Campus landed the #1 spot on the list. University of New Hampshire - Main Campus is a fairly large public school situated in Durham, New Hampshire. It awarded 20 ’s other education degrees in 2020-2021.
