It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Other Education” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2020-2021, 4,858 people earned their degree in other education, making the major the 142nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, other education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $47,827 and had an average of $25,433 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Plains States region, there were 585 other education graduates with average earnings and debt of $48,589 and $25,171 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Other Education” ranking, we looked at 18 colleges that offer a degree in other education. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality other education programs as well as strong veteran support.

The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Other Education. Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this large public school handed out 271 degrees to qualified ’s other education students in 2020-2021.
UMN Twin Cities not only placed well in this ranking.
