In 2018-2019, 88,927 education students received their bachelor's degree, making the major the #10 most popular in the country. Out of all those awarded degrees, 11,281 went to undergraduates in the Middle Atlantic region of the United States.

This year's Highest Paid Education Graduates in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking analyzed 102 colleges that offered a bachelor's degree in education.
In this ranking, we use early career salaries - salaries 10 years from when a student started college. This is the salary typically earned 4-6 years after graduation, but may be different depending on how long a person takes to complete their degree.

How Much Do Education Majors Make After Graduation?
The average education major who graduates from a school in the Middle Atlantic Region earns about $34,307 per year during the early years of their career. If salary is one of the most important things on your career list, you may be disappointed to hear that this is 14% less than the salary of a typical college graduate.
This salary is in the same ballpark as the national average of $34,031 for those students who obtain a bachelor's degree in education.
