Best Education Colleges for Veterans in the United StatesIn 2018-2019, 88,927 education students received their bachelor's degrees, making the major the #10 most popular in the country.

For this year's Best Education Colleges for Veterans in the United States ranking, we looked at 627 colleges that offer a bachelor's in education. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent education programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the education program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at Valley City State University, the school also landed the #3 rank in our Best Colleges for Education in the United States ranking.

As a testament to the quality of education it offers, UNLV also is in the top 5% of our Best Colleges for Education in the United States ranking.

Among the 30,457 students enrolled at UNLV, 1,576 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 1,048 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for these recipients was $6,443. In addition to receiving other benefits, 1 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Our rankings recognize Towson University as the #4 school in this year's rankings. Located in the small city of Towson, Towson is a public college with a fairly large student population. Towson also took the #9 spot in our Best Colleges for Education in the United States rankings.

Our most recent data shows that 671 of the 22,923 students enrolled at Towson were GI Bill® students, of which 475 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. According to our most recent data, TCNJ supports 7,686 students, and 54 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 26 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $11,573. TCNJ does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

University of Florida landed the #6 spot in our 2021 rankings for best value education schools. U of F is a very large public school located in the midsize city of Gainesville. U of F not only placed well in our veterans rankings. It is also #4 on our Best Colleges for Education in the United States list.

Of the 52,218 students enrolled at U of F, 1,109 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 752 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
