Out of the 33 majors we analyze each year, education was ranked 10th in Georgia. In fact, 2,694 were awarded in the state in 2018-2019. This means that colleges and universities in the state were responsible for awarding 3.0% of all the education bachelor's degrees in the country.

This year's Highest Paid Education Graduates in Georgia ranking analyzed 22 colleges that offered a bachelor's degree in education.
The numbers used in this ranking are early career salaries, which we define to be 10 years after a student started college. This is the salary typically earned 4-6 years after graduation, but may be different depending on how long a person takes to complete their degree.

Salaries of Education Majors After Graduation
After graduating, education majors that go to school in Georgia go on to jobs making an average of $34,413 per year. Unfortunately, that is 14% less than the average salary of a typical college graduate. However, graduates from the schools below may make more than this.
Nationwide, the average salary for graduates with a education degree is $34,031. So, there's not much difference on that front.
