2021 Highest Paid Education Graduates in Tennessee
Finding the Best Education School for You
Education is one of the most popular subjects to study in Tennessee. With 1,699 bachelor's degrees handed out in 2018-2019, it ranked 9th out of all the majors we track. This means that 1.9% of the degrees earned in the country were from a school in the state. Since picking the right college can be one of the most important decisions of your life, we've developed the Highest Paid Education Graduates ranking, along with many other major-related rankings, to help you make that decision.
This year's Highest Paid Education Graduates in Tennessee ranking analyzed 16 colleges that offered a bachelor's degree in education.
In this ranking, we use early career salaries - salaries 10 years from when a student started college. This is the salary typically earned 4-6 years after graduation, but may be different depending on how long a person takes to complete their degree.
How Much Do Education Majors Make After Graduation?
After graduation, education majors from schools in Tennessee earn an average salary of $32,752 per year. If salary is one of the most important things on your career list, you may be disappointed to hear that this is 18% less than the salary of a typical college graduate.
Nationwide, the average salary for graduates with a education degree is $34,031. So, there's not much difference on that front.
