Out of the 33 majors we analyze each year, education was ranked 4th in Arizona. In fact, 3,058 were awarded in the state in 2018-2019. For this year's Highest Paid Education Graduates in Arizona ranking, we looked at 9 colleges that offer a bachelor's in education.
The numbers used in this ranking are early career salaries, which we define to be 10 years after a student started college. This is the salary typically earned 4-6 years after graduation, but may be different depending on how long a person takes to complete their degree.
Comparing Average Salaries of Education Majors
After graduating, education majors that go to school in Arizona go on to jobs making an average of $34,508 per year. Unfortunately, that is 13% less than the average salary of a typical college graduate. However, graduates from the schools below may make more than this.
The national average salary for education bachelor's degree holders is $34,031. That's pretty close to the average for students who get their degree from a school in Arizona.
