Western Michigan University has taken the #1 spot in this year's special education ranking for non-traditional students. WMU is a large public school located in the city of Kalamazoo. WMU not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #2 on our Best Colleges for Special Education in Michigan list.
The student loan default rate at WMU is lower than is typical, just 2.0% of students default in three years. Approximately 10,416 students take at least one class online at WMU. 5,241 of WMU students are attending part time.
The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Central Michigan University. Central Michigan is a large public school located in the town of Mount Pleasant.
