In 2020-2021, 4,330 people earned their degree in construction engineering technology, making the major the 147th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, construction engineering technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $62,452 and had an average of $22,347 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 1,027 construction engineering technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $63,849 and $23,258 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Construction Engineering Tech” ranking looked at 17 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in construction engineering technology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality construction engineering technology programs as well as strong veteran support.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the construction engineering technology program at the school. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
