Engineering Technologies is the 20th most popular major in the country with 85,188 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, engineering technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,350 and had an average of $21,560 in loans still to pay off.
Across Florida, there were 4,838 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $43,701 and $16,893 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 577 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,395 and $25,950 respectively.
This year’s “Schools for a Bachelor’s Highly Focused on Engineering Tech Major in Florida” ranking analyzed 17 colleges that offered a degree in engineering technologies. That schools that top this list have a program in engineering technologies in which the largest percentage of students at the school are enrolled.

It ranked #2 on our 2023 Schools for a Bachelor’s Highly Focused on Engineering Tech Major in Florida list. Embry-Riddle Daytona Beach is a medium-sized school located in Daytona Beach, Florida that handed out 28 bachelors’s engineering tech degrees in 2020-2021.
