Computer Engineering is the 56th most popular major in the country with 17,987 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, computer engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $73,143 and had an average of $24,685 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Far Western US region, there were 3,771 computer engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $80,683 and $21,338 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for CE for a Master’s” ranking, we looked at 13 colleges that offer a degree in computer engineering. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great computer engineering programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

University of Southern California is located in Los Angeles, California and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 49 masters’s CE degrees to qualified students.

USC also took the #2 spot in our “Best Computer Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in the Far Western US Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 1,311 of the 46,287 students enrolled at USC were GI Bill® students, of which 862 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
