You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in New Mexico for Petroleum Engineering for a Bachelor’s list. New Mexico Tech is a small school located in Socorro, New Mexico that handed out 15 bachelors’s petroleum engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

New Mexico Tech also made our “Best Petroleum Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in New Mexico” list, coming in at #1.Among the 1,686 students enrolled at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, 36 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
