It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for students. Across the Great Lakes region, there were 32,891 engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $69,005 and $24,728 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 718 engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,077 and $19,490 respectively.

The school has an impressive undergrad student loan default rate. It’s only 3.6%, which is much lower than the national rate of 10.1%.

Out of the 73 schools in the Schools for an Associate Highly Focused on Engineering Major in the Great Lakes Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Indiana Institute of Technology - College of Professional Studies landed the #3 spot on the list. Indiana Tech - CPS is a private not-for-profit institution located in Fort-Wayne, Indiana. The school has a small population, and it awarded 18 associates’s degrees in 2020-2021.

The school came in at #4 for the Schools for an Associate Highly Focused on Engineering Major in the Great Lakes Region. Located in Livonia, Michigan, this medium-sized public school awarded 40 diplomas to qualified associates’s engineering students in 2020-2021.
Out of the 73 schools in the Schools for an Associate Highly Focused on Engineering Major in the Great Lakes Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Henry Ford College landed the #5 spot on the list. This fairly large school is located in Dearborn, Michigan, and it awarded 41 associates’s engineering degrees in 2020-2021.
Kalamazoo Valley Community College came in at #6 in this year’s edition of the Schools for an Associate Highly Focused on Engineering Major in the Great Lakes Region ranking. Kalamazoo, Michigan is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associates’s engineering degrees to 23 students in 2020-2021.
