Across the Great Lakes region, there were 32,891 engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $69,005 and $24,728 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 718 engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,077 and $19,490 respectively.

City Colleges of Chicago - Wilbur Wright College did quite well in the 2023 Most Well Attended Engineering Major in the Great Lakes Region for an Associate ranking, coming in at #9. Oakton Community College did quite well in the 2023 Most Well Attended Engineering Major in the Great Lakes Region for an Associate ranking, coming in at #10. This medium-sized school is located in Des Plaines, Illinois, and it awarded 25 associates’s engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

Indiana Institute of Technology - College of Professional Studies landed the #14 spot on the 2023 Most Well Attended Engineering Major in the Great Lakes Region for an Associate ranking.
