You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in South Dakota for Engineering for a Bachelor’s list. SD Mines is a small public school situated in Rapid City, South Dakota. It awarded 255 bachelors’s engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

SD Mines also made our “Best Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in South Dakota” list, coming in at #1.According to our most recent data, SD Mines supports 2,475 students, and 146 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 54 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
