Northeastern State University tops the 2021 list of our schools in Oklahoma that are best for non-traditional English language and literature students. Located in the remote town of Tahlequah, NSU is a public college with a moderately-sized student population. NSU also made our Best Colleges for English Language & Literature in Oklahoma list, coming in at #1.

Approximately 3,448 students take at least one class online at NSU. About 2,711 of the students at NSU are attending part time. NSU does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
