Out of the 6 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Area Studies for a Doctorate that were part of this year’s ranking, Georgetown University landed the #1 spot on the list. Georgetown University is a large school located in Washington, District of Columbia that handed out 1 doctorate’s area studies degrees in 2020-2021.
Georgetown not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Area Studies Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 10 of the 19,371 students enrolled at Georgetown were GI Bill® students, of which 5 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Cornell University is a large private not-for-profit school situated in Ithaca, New York. It awarded 2 doctorate’s area studies degrees in 2020-2021.
