2022 Best Value Master’s Degree Colleges for Housing

Housing is the 310th most popular major in the country with 911 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, housing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $43,433 and had an average of $24,194 in loans still to pay off.

At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 49 housing graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,398 and $43,194 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Housing Schools for a Master’s” ranking analyzed 3 colleges that offered a degree in housing. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality housing programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

UGA also made our “Best Housing Master’s Degree Schools” list, coming in at #2. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at UGA are $27,476.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Texas Tech University. The school came in at #2 for the Best Value Housing Schools for a Master’s. Texas Tech is a large public school situated in Lubbock, Texas. It awarded 4 masters’s housing degrees in 2019-2020.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at Texas Tech, the school also landed the #3 spot in our “Best Housing Master’s Degree Schools” ranking. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at Texas Tech are $17,530.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Cornell University. The school came in at #3 for the Best Value Housing Schools for a Master’s. Ithaca, New York is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out masters’s housing degrees to 10 students in 2019-2020.

Cornell also took the #1 spot in our “Best Housing Master’s Degree Schools” ranking. Average graduate tuition and fees at Cornell are $30,042, but you may pay more or less depending on your major.
