You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Western Oregon University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for ASL for a Bachelor’s list. Western Oregon University is located in Monmouth, Oregon and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 20 bachelors’s ASL degrees to qualified students.

Western Oregon State College also made our “Best American Sign Language Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Far Western US Region” list, coming in at #1.Our most recent data shows that 187 of the 4,554 students enrolled at Western Oregon University were GI Bill® students, of which 89 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $7,651. On top of their other funding sources, 2 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
