Kent, Ohio is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s ASL degrees to 18 students in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our great lakes region bachelor’s degree vets studying asl list, Kent State has also earned the #2 rank in our “Best American Sign Language Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” ranking.Among the 26,822 students enrolled at Kent State, 778 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 374 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $7,199. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Columbia College Chicago. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for ASL for a Bachelor’s list. Columbia College Chicago is a medium-sized school located in Chicago, Illinois that handed out 21 bachelors’s ASL degrees in 2020-2021.

Columbia did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #4 on our “Best American Sign Language Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list.Of the 6,769 students enrolled at Columbia College Chicago, 140 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
