2023 Best East Asian Languages Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Veterans in the Southwest Region

Veterans have lots of options to chooose from today when trying to decide which college to attend. East Asian Languages is the 188th most popular major in the country with 2,293 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, East Asian languages graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,485 and had an average of $22,162 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southwest region, there were 143 East Asian languages graduates with average earnings and debt of $31,738 and $21,565 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 71 East Asian languages graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,112 and $26,227 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent East Asian languages programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for East Asian for a Bachelor’s. UT Austin is located in Austin, Texas and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 21 bachelors’s East Asian degrees to qualified students.

UT Austin not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best East Asian Languages Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Among the 50,476 students enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin, 7 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
