University of Maine at Fort Kent tops the 2021 list of our schools in Maine that are best for non-traditional nursing students. UMFK is a small public school located in the rural area of Fort Kent. UMFK also took the #6 spot in our Best Colleges for Nursing in Maine rankings.

About 3.2% of UMFK students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. 594 of UMFK students are exclusively distance learners. There are roughly 1,074 part time students in attendance at UMFK.
