Oklahoma Panhandle State University has taken the #1 spot in this year's nursing ranking for non-traditional students. OPSU is a small public school located in the rural area of Goodwell. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, OPSU has also earned the #6 rank in our Best Colleges for Nursing in Oklahoma ranking.

The school has a low student loan default rate of 3.1%. Approximately 804 students take at least one class online at OPSU. 374 students are part time.

Our rankings recognize Southwestern Oklahoma State University as the #2 school in this year's rankings. SWOSU is a small public school located in the remote town of Weatherford. SWOSU also made our Best Colleges for Nursing in Oklahoma list, coming in at #3.

The student loan default rate at SWOSU is lower than is typical, just 2.4% of students default in three years. There are approximately 1,912 students at SWOSU that take at least one class online. About 1,114 of the students at SWOSU are attending part time.

Located in the town of Bartlesville, OKWU or OWU is a private not-for-profit college with a small student population. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, OKWU or OWU has also earned the #9 rank in our Best Colleges for Nursing in Oklahoma ranking.

The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.8%. Approximately 338 students take at least one class online at OKWU or OWU. There are roughly 294 part time students in attendance at OKWU or OWU.

Northeastern State University earned the #4 spot in our 2021 rankings. NSU is a moderately-sized public school located in the remote town of Tahlequah. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, NSU has also earned the #8 rank in our Best Colleges for Nursing in Oklahoma ranking.
