MidAmerica Nazarene University tops the 2021 list of our schools in Kansas that are best for non-traditional nursing students. Located in the large suburb of Olathe, MNU is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population. MNU also took the #4 spot in our Best Colleges for Nursing in Kansas rankings.
The student loan default rate at MNU is lower than is typical, just 2.7% of students default in three years. 218 students at MNU are exclusively online. About 587 of the students at MNU are attending part time.

University of Saint Mary landed the #2 spot in our 2021 best nursing schools for non-traditional students. University of St. Mary is a small private not-for-profit school located in the town of Leavenworth. University of St. Mary not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #2 on our Best Colleges for Nursing in Kansas list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.1%. There are approximately 247 students at University of St. Mary that take at least one class online. 355 students are part time.
