With 266,651 degrees handed out in 2020-2021, registered nursing is the 3rd most popular major in the United States.

Across the New England region, there were 11,319 registered nursing graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 3,275 registered nursing graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,618 and $16,599 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Registered Nursing for an Associate” ranking, we looked at 38 colleges that offer a degree in registered nursing. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent registered nursing programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
