In 2020-2021, 20,393 people earned their degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences, making the major the 53rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $95,543 and had an average of $23,251 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Great Lakes region, there were 2,923 pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $88,804 and $22,336 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 516 pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,343 and $26,790 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Pharmacy for a Bachelor’s” ranking, we looked at 10 colleges that offer a degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences programs as well as strong veteran support.

In 2020-2021, this school awarded 27 bachelors’s pharmacy degrees to qualified students.

U-M not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list.Among the 47,907 students enrolled at U-M, 570 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
