In 2020-2021, 40,596 people earned their degree in public health, making the major the 26th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, public health graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $43,158 and had an average of $27,396 in loans still to pay off.
Across Ohio, there were 1,028 public health graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,701 and $30,562 respectively.
This year’s “Most Well Attended Public Health Major in Ohio” ranking looked at 32 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in public health. This ranking identifies schools that graduate the most students in public health.
