Out of the 10 schools in the Best Value Library Science Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Queens College landed the #2 spot on the list. Located in Queens, New York, this fairly large public school handed out 94 degrees to qualified ’s library science students in 2020-2021.

QC did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #5 on our “Best Library & Information Science Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list. It costs about $3,469 for middle atlantic region library science students per year to attend Queens College.

The low undergrad student loan default rate of 4.1% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%.

LIU Post is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Brookville, New York. It awarded 102 ’s library science degrees in 2020-2021.

LIU Post not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #4 on our “Best Library & Information Science Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list. The yearly cost to attend LIU Post is $26,069 for Middle Atlantic Region Library Science students.
