You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of the Southwest. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in New Mexico for Parks & Rec for a Master’s list. University of the Southwest is a small school located in Hobbs, New Mexico that handed out 25 masters’s parks and rec degrees in 2020-2021.

USW also made our “Best Parks, Recreation, Leisure, & Fitness Studies Master’s Degree Schools in New Mexico” list, coming in at #1.According to our most recent data, USW supports 904 students, and 31 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 28 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
