You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Columbia International University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Schools Highly Focused on Islamic Studies Major in the Southeast Region list. This small school is located in Columbia, South Carolina, and it awarded 5 ’s Islamic studies degrees in 2020-2021.
The school has an impressive undergrad student loan default rate. It’s only 4.3%, which is much lower than the national rate of 10.1%.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Emory University. The school came in at #2 for the Schools Highly Focused on Islamic Studies Major in the Southeast Region. Emory is a fairly large school located in Atlanta, Georgia that handed out 1 ’s Islamic studies degrees in 2020-2021.
