2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Chemistry

In 2019-2020, 21,951 people earned their degree in chemistry, making the major the 44th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, chemistry graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $38,704 and had an average of $22,279 in loans still to pay off.
At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 15,411 chemistry graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Chemistry Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 369 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in chemistry. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent chemistry programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
